“ Beautiful day called for fish and chips. Montgomery’s on East Beach is the place to go, I have never been let down. Quaint little patio with five tables, table also inside. I had the one piece Halibut and chips - which came with 1 1/2 pieces and a bunch of crispy fries. It was not greasy at all. The “meat” was so good! This is the best fish and chips in White Rock, hands down! ”

ME TOO. and guess what? MONTGOMERY’S IS THE ONLY PLACE I HAVE FOUND THAT DOES NOT HAVE THAT! crispy breading, deliciously LIGHT batter, fantastic lemony tartar sauce, and the most adorable restaurant. I have lived here for four years and even work for the city and somehow never came by until now! It’s so good i’ll be sharing the good news with regulars and tourists alike! ”

“ kind and attentive staff, the restaurant was decorated with many beautiful and witty artworks and decorations. the food was so fresh and i took some home. i loved every bite. the portion sizes are amazing, and the fried pickles, the best ive ever had. such a lovely little spot, and well worth your time! ”

“ Good spot for fish and chips! The service was relatively quick (~15 mins) even on Good Friday. The fish tasted fresh. The only downside is the price but I recognize it’s comparable to other spots on the strip. It would be more worthwhile if coleslaw and tartar sauce was included or have the option to make it a combo. ”

“ Just came here with my wife from Vancouver. First thing I’d have to say is that the service is excellent. Among the best value place I’ve been to in White Rock. This place is cheaper and of the same quality as that in Vancouver, so you get your money’s worth. Highly recommended. ”

“ I'd like to start off by saying we walked the whole entire strip to every single restaurant to look at the menu the people serving it and the smells of course and this was the best decision for sure by far smelled great looked great and the people were super friendly. I got the beef cheeseburger which was really good sauce was perfect it was not dry the onions were nice and crunchy same with the lettuce. I also got it with a side of coleslaw which was amazing not too saucy very fresh complimented the burger really well. The gf got the 2 piece cod with chips they actually ended up giving her three pieces which was quite nice it was nice tender and flaky and the chips were done perfectly with a little bit of vinegar and ketchup on it was marvelous. Very happy we decided to go to this place instead of all the others. Our total bill for everything was $42 . Which for the strip is actually quite reasonable no complaints If you're in White Rock and you're looking for a place to eat this is the place to go ”
